The Band
Vocals ranging from guttural to melodic, music sessions highlighting bass and drums, battling guitar solos and memorable riffs, this is Eldermoon, a band that crosses the paths of Heavy Metal, Metalcore and Melodic Death Metal.
The band was formed in the Brazilian city of Curitiba in the year 2019. The first EP, entitled “We Are Lost No More”, was released in 2021, with 4 songs and 3 music videos. Since then the band has been preparing their next EP, “Vita | Mortem”, aiming to insert themselves in the Brazilian metal scene.
The name
The name Eldermoon tells a story of the band’s symbolism. The figure of the elder moon refers to the ancient, enduring and wisdom. The band sees the moon as a star that was present and observed every moment of humanity, understanding our emotions, how we think and how we react to the world. The owl figure acts together with the moon as a symbol of wisdom and ancestral knowledge, as well as the observant star that watches over humanity even in darkness.
